Christ In Youth is an international ministry leading young people to Christ for over 50 years. We are thrilled to have launched in Europe in 2017 with our initial focus being led to work in Ireland. Through relationships, friendships, and importantly through invitations, we feel called to expand our work into Scotland. Our mission is to mobilise young people to accept Christ’s call to be Kingdom Workers. We believe that young people can actively serve as Kingdom Workers in their families, with friends, in schools, and in their communities.
We believe that God has big plans for young people in the Church and we are honoured to call young people to action across the globe.
We strongly believe that events only have traction and legacy if they connect well with the local Church. Throughout scripture we see God's people travel and gather for celebrations and festivals. These gathering events are part of our Christian heritage and we know the importance, significance, and impact they can have on a young person's life. At our events, Christ In Youth partners with the local church to create moments and conversations that call young people to follow Jesus and into lives of Kingdom Work. We seek creative ways that unpack scripture and create these moments that inspire Kingdom Work. Our methods of delivery may change but the hope of the Gospel remains the same. We believe that every young person deserves these sorts of opportunities and our goal is to seek to create these environments where Jesus can work in their lives.
MOVE is a five-day summer event designed to amplify Christ's call on a young person's life to be a Kingdom Worker. The week includes engaging age themed services, contemporary worship, fun games, activities and sports, community discipleship and moments for young people to treasure.
Connected is a 3-day retreat for youth leaders across Ireland and Scotland designed to rest the mind, reinvigorate the heart and replenish the soul.
In partnership with 24/7 Prayer Ireland, local churches and youth ministries, we want to commit to praying for the youth of Ireland. To facilitate this we gather people to pray at various times throughout the year.
Next Prayer Night is Tues 15th November – Lucan Centre, Dublin. 7.30pm to 9.30pm
Engage is your chance to send young people on a short-term mission experience serving with our partners all around the world.
